Copy Trading

In development

Copy trading normally works because the venue holds everyone's money. You grant a platform discretion over your balance, it mirrors a leader's trades into your account, and the trust you are extending is to the exchange rather than to the trader. GreenX cannot work that way, and would not want to: your collateral sits in a vault you control, and every order that reaches the book carries your own signature.

So the interesting question is not how to copy a position. It is what a follower is actually agreeing to. A leader's move has to become something you authorise - scaled to your own collateral rather than theirs, bounded by limits you set before anything is mirrored, and revocable the moment you change your mind. A signature you cannot withdraw is custody wearing a different name, so whatever shape this takes, ending the arrangement has to be immediate and unilateral.

That constraint rules some things out. A follower cannot be silently levered beyond what they put up, because the vault will not release collateral it does not have. It also rules some things in: because positions settle against the same book and the same on-chain balances, what a leader did is checkable rather than reported. Performance is a matter of record, not a number a platform prints about itself.

We are building it in that order - authorisation and revocation first, mirroring second. The parts that already exist are the ones this depends on: the vault, wallet-signed orders, and a matching venue that treats every participant the same way.

What is live today

Wallet-signed perpetuals on an order book, with collateral you keep. It is running now, and it is the venue everything above is being built on top of.
